Robin Frijns showed great dedication and performance during the Season 2 championship, leading the team to an easy decision of re-signing the Netherlands native for 2016/2017. Since joining the team, Frijns has been a full-time driver for the Formula E Program and competed in all 10 rounds of Season 2. Frijns set a rookie first by finishing in the top 10 for his first five races, including a podium finish at the Malaysia ePrix.
Frijns will play a role in the continued testing and development of the Season 3 car. Like many of his competitors, the Dutchman progressed through the single-seater ranks from an early age and won titles in a number of junior categories including Formula BMW Europe, Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and the 2012 World Series by Renault 3.5. The Dutch driver and GP2 race winner has been recognized for his talent throughout his career, testing for both Sauber and Red Bull Racing at a Formula One young driver test in Abu Dhabi. In 2013, Frijns joined Sauber as an official test driver and took part in a partial season of GP2 picking up one victory and two podium finishes. Frijns later joined Caterham F1 as a test driver for 2014.Frijns has also won the Blancpain GT Series Driver Championship.

António Félix da Costa
Portuguese driver António Félix da Costa will join the MS Andretti Formula E team for the upcoming FIA Formula E Championship. Piloting the No.28 MS Amlin Andretti ATEC-002 for Season 3 will mark a renewed relationship between Félix da Costa and the global insurance company MS Amlin.
Félix da Costa claimed his maiden Formula E victory in Buenos Aires in January 2015, and went on to finish eighth overall at the end of the 2014/2015 season. Félix da Costa finished the 2015/2016 season ranked 13th in the driver standings, with Motorsport.com placing him fourth overall in the top 10 drivers of the season due to keeping cool at all times even when faced with so much bad luck.
Coming from a racing family, Félix da Costa started karting at the age of nine racing in a number of Portuguese championships against competition who were much older. In 2007, he progressed into single-seaters in Formula Renault 2.0. After gaining attention in both Formula 3 Euro Series and GP3, he joined the Red Bull program as a Formula One test driver where he made his debut for Force India in 2010. António scored a breakthrough victory for BMW Motorsport in the prestigious DTM touring car series to bolster an already impressive CV that includes victory at the Macau Grand Prix.

Having joined Andretti in the spring of 2014, Roger Griffiths serves as the Director of Motorsport Development, working with all areas of Andretti racing competition including the INDYCAR ladder and Andretti Formula E, as well as Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross. With an expanded role as Co-Team Principal for Andretti Formula E, the UK native also operates as a key figure within Andretti Technologies, helping to shape the future of electric energy in motorsports.
Griffiths, who has enjoyed a vast background in many motorsports endeavors including Formula 1, IndyCar, American Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series and Super Touring Cars, served as the Technical Director for Honda Performance Development where he experienced success at the Indy 500 in 2012 and the 2013 Driver's Championship.
The UK native is an engineering graduate of Loughborough University of Technology (1991). The year following his graduation, Griffiths earned his master's degree in Automotive Product Engineering at Cranfield Institute of Technology with a specialization in Vehicle Modeling and Lap Simulation.
